Introducing Roadmap to Extend Service Assurance
Introducing Roadmap to Extend Service Assurance: Release the LiveNX network performance and analytics platform is your roadmap to extend service assurance to SD-WAN environments and preview our machine learning technology in LiveNX.
This release delivers key operational capabilities to ease the discovery, alerting, reporting, and integration with Cisco Digital Network Architecture (DNA) and multi-vendor environments.
The latest release from LiveAction includes:
Cisco APIC-EM EasyQoS integration
– Cisco Application Policy Infrastructure Controller – Enterprise Module (APIC-EM) is an integral element of the Cisco DNA to automate configuration and setup of software-defined networking to the enterprise branch, campus, and WAN. LiveNX 6.2 enhances APIC-EM with Auto-Semantic Discovery using the integrated API to monitor and report on the favorite application, traffic, and performance at near real-time polling intervals.
Configuration of new alerts and notification – LiveNX Administrators can now set the tagging of the severity levels for alerts and a list of email addresses to receive the alert.
New alert configurations component on LiveNX and added REST APIs for:
- BGP Peer Connection Change
- Interface Percent Utilization
- Path or Routing Change
New alerts can now be configured for email notification or assigned through a third-party integration with PagerDuty.
Auto-Semantic Device Discovery and Management – Simplify the user experience with auto-discovery across IP ranges with applied semantic settings such as site, interface line rate capacity, service provider description, and default application group by DSCP for the rapid population in new (greenfield) LiveNX environments.
107 vendors now have their inventory discovered and added to the network description.
LiveNX Monitor of Monitors
LiveNX Monitor of Monitors provides a single-pane-of-glass for server settings, system health, sites and configuration aggregating multiple geographical or organizationally segmented LiveNX domains. Through an aggregation layer, each LiveNX server domain instance injects relevant data for summary dashboard views and management by way of a northbound REST API.
This is particularly helpful for managed service provider or larger enterprise environments with centralized operational management responsibilities within a NOC or IT Service Desk. The LiveNX Monitor maintains the administrative separation between LiveNX domains while providing centralized provisioning of LiveNX users, discovery and scheduling reports for each of the LiveNX server domains.
Report templates – Improve granularity of time series report data and new pre-built report templates for quick display, in addition to new flow reports for site-to-site applications and jitter/loss.
Preview of LiveNX Insight – LiveNX Insight is a new addition to the LiveNX performance and analytics platform. As an additionally licensed module for predictive insights, it is based on machine learning to support the service assurance of your network. LiveNX Insight is available for preview in 6.2 with general availability coming later. The preview software is available from the download link for LiveNX.
