LiveAction Completes Compatibility Testing with Cisco

April 18, 2017

LiveAction has completed compatibility testing with Cisco APIC-EM to increase the speed and quality of SD-WAN deployments.

LiveNX, Live Action’s network performance analytics platform that provides situational awareness, semantic-based analysis and modeling for continuous network insights, troubleshooting and service assurance, is now fully integrated with the Cisco APIC-EM using open APIs.

The integration enables users to visualize the Cisco Intelligent WAN (IWAN) solution from the LiveNX dashboard, allowing the easy provisioning of a new site, adding devices for monitoring, validating deployment, and efficiently managing on-going network operations.

For example, as more users own more devices, it adds complexity to the network. For a long time, the fix was multiple device onboardings. Yet this can create more challenges, including masking potential issues along with the associated time and costs for connecting devices and ensuring they comply with network policies. Using APIC-EM for orchestration and LiveNX for monitoring, customers simplify new device onboarding. With this integration, adding a new site in APIC-EM automatically populates the site in LiveNX, mitigating the risk of human error and efficiently managing network operations.

“The LiveNX platform is a one-stop solution for network performance visibility and control,” said Walter Scott, CEO of Live Action. “Our integration with APIC demonstrates our continued commitment to deliver a scalable, next-generation networking platform, including enabling planning, deploying and operating SD-WANs.”
