Darren T. Kimura, Executive Chairman
Darren T. Kimura is the Executive Chairman at LiveAction, Inc. In this capacity he leads the Board of Directors and provides advice and counsel to the CEO and LiveAction leadership on the company’s strategy and strategic partnerships. He also serves as the Chairman of the Board at Energy Industries Corporation, is the Vice Chairman at the Blue Planet Foundation, and is the Managing Partner at Enerdigm Ventures. He has previously served as a Director at the State of Hawaii Venture Capital Fund and for numerous other corporations and non-profits.
Michael Triplett, Director
Michael Triplett is a managing partner of Insight Venture Partners. Mike focuses on investments in Infrastructure and Application Software companies and has been instrumental in investments in more than twenty companies, many of which have achieved fast growth and realized significant value for shareholders and employees. Notable among these are the IPOs of Click Commerce, Solarwinds Inc. (NYSE: SWI), and Quest Software, and the acquisitions of Aelita Software (acquired by Quest Software), Authorize.net (acquired by Go2Net), Astaro (acquired by Sophos), BeyondTrust (acquired by Veritas Capital), Imceda Software (acquired by Quest Software), eEye Digital Security (acquired by BeyondTrust), Folhamatic (acquired by Sage plc), GFI’s TeamViewer (acquired by Permira), Kabum! Tom Schodorf, Director
Tom Schodorf is an industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience, Schodorf is the former senior vice president of worldwide field operations for Splunk Inc. At Splunk, he built and executed a successful go-to-market strategy for the company, with its revenue increasing by a factor of ten during his tenure. Prior to Splunk, he held executive positions at BMC Software and IBM. At BMC Software, he spent 17 years in a number of executive positions, including head of Asia-Pacific field sales, as well as vice president and global general manager of the Identify Business Unit. Previously, Schodorf was a sales executive with IBM for more than seven years.
Brian Nugent, Director
Brian Nugent is a founding General Partner of Sway Ventures, as well as a seasoned technology industry executive, entrepreneur and board director. As an investor, entrepreneur, operator and strategic advisor in over 150 technology ventures, Brian has built domain expertise and deep connections across the IT industry on five continents.
Brian has a proven record of driving software, SaaS, hardware and IT Services companies to market leadership positions. As an entrepreneur and operating executive he ran both public and privately-held enterprise software companies. Previously, Brian was a senior executive at Teros (acquired by Citrix), Atrica (acquired by Nokia-Siemens) and LuxN (acquired by Sorrento Networks). He currently serves on the Boards of Directors of ThreatSTOP, Liquid Grids, and CyberHive.
Brian is a member of the ‘Alliance of CEOs’, the San Diego Venture Group, and is a frequent lecturer at CEO consortium’s such as the ‘CEO Total Access Series’. He is active in a variety of charitable organizations and is a Board Member of PEERS Network and is a member of the 2013 National Champion Sunset Water Polo Club. Brian holds a B.A. degree in Business Administration from California State University, Long Beach.
Phillip Vorobeychik, Director
Philip Vorobeychik joined Insight Venture Partners in 2010. Prior to joining Insight, he founded several internet ventures including a small business focused internet services agency, and a series of specialty eCommerce stores. He also spent time at TwinRed Asset Management, a hedge fund and venture capital firm based in New York. Philip has worked with Insight’s investments in Kaseya, BeyondTrust, GFI, Firemon, Mirantis, Unitrends, Veeam, and a number of other infrastructure and software/SaaS portfolio companies.
